April 2012 Revisions to the Savings Bond Resource Guide
The following is an overview of important changes to the Savings Bond Resource Guide reflected in the April 2012 edition:
- Changes were made to reflect that Treasury Department is no longer paying fees to financial institutions for redeeming paper savings bonds as of April 16, 2012.
- Changes were made to reflect the elimination of EZClear as of April 16, 2012.
- Samples of forms in Appendix C were updated to reflect the latest versions.
